First launched in 2002, The FLTRP Cup National English Speaking Contest has grown into a competition spanning more than 30 provinces. The 2025–26 edition attracted a record-breaking 1.3 million participants, which has become a renowned nationwide English competition for senior high school students, hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University, organized by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and supported by China Basic Foreign Language Education Research & Training Center. Students will prepare and deliver an English speech, respond to expert questions, and compete with outstanding young speakers through the regional & national contest pathway.

This is more than an English speaking contest. It is an opportunity for students to turn their English ability into a clear voice, thoughtful ideas, and confident stage presence.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
