      Pilot X Youth Drone Challenge

Concludes with Inspiring Displays of Innovation and Skill

Future Education Centre (FEC) is proud to announce the successful completion of the inaugural Pilot X Drone Hackathon《Pilot X 領航少年無人機挑戰賽》- 火星勘探慈善交流賽, held on August 12, 2025, at Methodist School. This full-day event brought together aspiring young engineers and technologists for a hands-on introduction to drone flight and programming, culminating in an exhilarating afternoon competition.

      Event Highlights

      • Morning Workshops: Over 40 student participants, grouped into teams of two, engaged in expert-led sessions on basic drone operation, safety protocols, and introductory programming concepts. Young innovators demonstrated rapid mastery of take-off and landing maneuvers, obstacle navigation, and code-based flight path planning.
      • Afternoon Competition: Teams put their new skills to the test in a friendly yet fierce contest simulating a Mars exploration mission. Competitors navigated drones through a series of checkpoints and challenges modeled on extraterrestrial terrain, showcasing their teamwork and troubleshooting under pressure.
