Background
World Model United Nations (Age 10-18) is jointly sponsored by China Center for International People-to-people Exchange (CCIPE) of Ministry of Education and Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). The conference is a high-level event in education for International Understanding in China which provides an advanced MUN platform with exemplary significance. Since its inception, over 10,000 students from more than 30 countries around the world have actively participated in the conference.
Model United Nations (MUN) is an integrative practical activity for youth worldwide with a history of over 80 years. In Model United Nations, each student becomes a delegate of a selected nation. By assuming the character of a diplomat of the selected country, students can fully develop the qualities of international talents and understand the importance of accepting differences.
2025 World Model United Nations High-Level Conference is the higher round of the annual conference. Over 600 outstanding students from all over China and different countries will gather in Beijing to seek for solutions to global issues to create a better world.

Inspired during his own high school years by the stories in Time and National Geographic, Mr. Lam discovered a lifelong passion for understanding the world’s complexities—where human conflict and natural harmony share the same planet. Before the internet connected every corner of society, these magazines captivated him, revealing both the challenges and the beauty that define our global community.
Mr. Lam believes that building a better world depends on our collective efforts—small actions taken together, each step making a difference for everyone.
